1. Company Housing (Shain-Ryo)

Some private companies in Tokyo and surrounding areas offer their company housing establishments for self-financed international students enrolled in degree programs at Keio University. These rooms are available at a reasonable price, and most rooms are 1-person accommodations. Vacancy and application information will be posted on the International Center web page.

2. Tokyo International Exchange Center

Tokyo International Exchange Center (TIEC) provides quality residential and exchange spaces for outstanding graduate students and researchers from Japan and abroad.
Applications are open to international students, Japanese students (RA), and foreign researchers.
※Please note that concurrent applications with Keio student dormitories or Company Housing are not permitted.

Eligibility

Applicants must have "Student" status of residence, be able to commute to their campus from TIEC, and meet one of the following conditions:

1. Outstanding international students who are enrolled in a regular graduate program (including research students who have been admitted to a regular graduate program) and are within the standard period of study (exceptions made for those enrolled beyond this period due to military service).
2. Outstanding international students who are in the 5th or 6th year of the Faculty of Medicine or Pharmacy and are within the standard period of study (exceptions made for those enrolled beyond this period due to military service).
3. International students (including those who do not have "Student" status of residence) receiving education through a university's graduate-level program.

※If enrollment is confirmed, applications are possible before the enrollment start date. (Move-in is permitted up to 30 days prior to the start of enrollment.)
※The minimum period of residence is 30 days.
※Those who are on leave of absence or who will be on leave of absence after moving in are not eligible to apply.

How to apply

- Applications must be submitted through Keio University.
- Prospective residents must first confirm the Internal Guidelines, contact the Keio Housing Coordinator via email (keio_dormitory@info.keio.ac.jp), and then submit their application.
